THE SCIENCE
What Is ceramic COATING?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to your vehicle's exterior that chemically bonds with the factory paint — creating a permanent, protective layer that cannot be washed off or broken down by environmental contaminants.
The active ingredient is Silicon Dioxide (SiO2), derived from quartz. When cured, it forms a rigid glass-like layer over your paint that is harder than clear coat itself — rated at 9H on the pencil hardness scale.
Unlike wax that lasts weeks or sealants that last months, a professional ceramic coating bonds permanently to your paint. The result is a surface that repels water, dirt, and chemicals while delivering a depth of gloss that wax simply cannot achieve.
How The Bond Works
- Surface Preparation
Paint is decontaminated and polished to remove all imperfections, the coating locks them in permanently if not addressed first.
- Chemical Bond
SiO2 molecules penetrate the microscopic pores of your clear coat and form a covalent bond, not just a surface layer.
- Curing Process
The coating is flash, cured under controlled conditions, hardening into a semi-permanent glass matrix over your paint.
- Hydrophobic Effect
The smooth, non-porous surface causes water to bead and sheet off at contact angles exceeding 110° carrying dirt with it.
THE COMPAISION
CERAMIC VS THE ALTERNATIVES
TRADITIONAL WAX / SEALANT
✗ Lasts only 4–12 weeks
✗ No impact protection
✗ Washes off over time
✗ Minimal UV resistance
✗ Requires reapplication every season
✗ Surface-level only — no chemical bond
VS
CERAMIC COATING
✦ Lasts 3–5+ years
✦ 9H hardness protects against swirls
✦ Permanent chemical bond to paint
✦ Full UV ray blocking
✦ Applied once — maintained easily
✦ Deeper gloss than any wax or sealant

WHAT YOU GET
6 REASON TO COAT
💧
Hydrophobic Repulsion
Water beads and rolls off instantly, taking dirt and contaminants with it. Your car stays cleaner longer between washes.
✨
Mirror Gloss Finish
The glass-like surface adds incredible depth and clarity to your paint — a level of gloss no wax or polish can match or sustain.
☀️
UV & Oxidation Shield
Blocks harmful UV rays that cause paint to fade, dull, and oxidize over time. Your color stays vivid and deep for years.
🛡
Scratch Resistance
At 9H hardness, the coating resists light scratches and swirl marks from improper washing that would mar unprotected paint.
🔬
Chemical Resistance
Acid rain, bird droppings, bug acids, and industrial fallout are repelled before they can etch into your clear coat.
📈
Resale Value
Ceramic-coated vehicles hold their appearance longer, making them more attractive to buyers and commanding higher resale prices.

HOW WE APPLY IT
OUR ceramic PROCESS
01
Decontamination
Full chemical wash, iron decontamination, and clay bar treatment to remove all surface bonded contaminants.
02
Paint Correction
Swirl marks, light scratches, and water spots are polished out, the coating will lock in whatever condition it's applied over.
03
Panel Wipe Down
IPA (isopropyl alcohol) wipe removes all polish oils and residue, ensuring a completely clean surface for bonding.
04
Coating Application
Ceramic is applied panel by panel using a suede applicator block, worked in with crosshatch strokes for full coverage.
05
Cure & Inspect
The coating is left to flash and cure in our controlled environment. Final inspection under lighting before delivery.
AAFTERCARE GUIDE
How To Maintain Your Coating
Your ceramic coating is built to last, these habits keep it performing at its best for years.
✦ Do This
✦ Use a pH-Neutral Shampoo
Wash with a pH-neutral car shampoo using the two-bucket method, one for wash, one for rinse. This keeps the coating intact and avoids stripping its hydrophobic layer.
✦ Apply a Ceramic Maintenance Booster
Use a ceramic-safe spray detailer or SiO2 booster every 3–6 months to refresh the hydrophobic layer and extend the coating's lifespan.
✦ Dry With a Microfiber Towel
Use a clean, plush microfiber waffle-weave drying towel or a leaf blower. Pat — don't drag — to avoid introducing light scratches.
✦ Act Fast on Contaminants
Rinse bird droppings, bug splatter, and tree sap within 24 hours. Even with coating protection, prolonged exposure can etch the surface.
✦ Schedule Annual Maintenance Details
Return once a year for a professional maintenance detail and coating inspection. We'll decontaminate, top up the coating, and confirm it's performing correctly.
✗ Avoid This
✗ Automatic Brush Car Washes
The spinning brushes in tunnel washes leave swirl marks and micro-scratches that progressively dull the coating. Always hand wash or use a touchless rinse.
✗ Wax or Sealant Products
Applying wax or sealant over a ceramic coating coats over it and dramatically reduces its hydrophobic performance. The coating doesn't need them, they work against it.
✗ Washing in Direct Sunlight
Hot panels cause soap and water to dry too quickly, leaving water spots and soap residue. Always wash in shade or during cooler parts of the day.
✗ Harsh Chemicals or Degreasers
Products with very high or very low pH levels can degrade the coating over time. Stick to ceramic-safe products only.
✗ Washing Within 7 Days of Application
After your coating is applied, avoid any water exposure for the first 7 days. This curing window is critical, water contact before full cure can leave spots locked into the coating.
💡 Pro Tip From Our Team
The single biggest thing you can do to extend your coating is wash regularly with proper technique. A coating that's washed every 2 weeks with the right products will outlast a neglected coating by years, regardless of how many layers were applied.
